So, Girl-child got her picture in the University newspaper today - she's doing this as a volunteer and she's thrilled because they're also teaching her to weld.
(Not what I pictured her gaining from a University education, but as one prof put it, "If she were going to vo-tech to learn welding it wouldn't come with Noel Coward" which is oh-so-true)
